PARENT REMINDERS:
1. Teacher hours are from 7: 45 - 3:30. During this time, I will be available most days from 7:45 until 3:30 . There are duty days that rotate through all of the teachers in the area. During my duty : 3:00-3:15, I will be unavailable. One of the best ways to reach me is through email! I check it frequently throughout the day and on the weekends. Most of my contact will you as parents will be through email! My email is [email protected]. I look forward to hearing from you! Or you may call before or after school at Ext. 2065
2. Please be sure to sign your child's agenda each evening. I will be checking the agenda each day for your signature or initials. To indicate that I have seen the agenda, I will be put a checkmark or a smiley face. Please be sure to have your child write the title of the book they are reading in their agenda.
3. I love to have parent volunteers! At the beginning of the school year I will send home a form that will give you the opportunity to sign up for days and times that work for you. Then a schedule will be developed for you to follow. Please remember for the safety of our children to always sign in at the front office and to come only at your scheduled time.
4. It is very important you notify the office when your child is absent. The office determines the type of absent your child has and marks it for the county’s use. Unexcused absences that add up can be a unpleasant situation, so please be sure to call the office to report the absence.
5. If you send lunch money or a check into the school, please place it in an envelope marked with your child’s name, my name, and the amount on the front. Please do not send your child in with loose money. This makes it easy to loose and hard for the cafeteria to account for! Click here for the lunch menu!
6. We will have a snack time in the morning. (9:15) Please send in healthy snacks with your child each day to eat during class. This will help your child make it until lunch time!
7. There may be times where we need to replenish our supplies or we will have specific needs for our classroom. I will notify you about these through our email or your child’s agenda.
9. All class emails will also be posted to our class website on a page labeled Announcements for your reference use and will be sent to your email address as well!
10. Birthdays are an important way to celebrate your child. Please let me know if you will be celebrating your child’s special day with our class.
